Over the last few years, an influx of popular New York-based restaurants have made their way to Miami but none of them were embraced as quickly or as effortlessly as Cote Miami, a Michelin-starred Korean Steakhouse with a flagship location in New York City’s Flatiron District.

Since opening in February 2021, Cote Miami quickly became one of the city’s top restaurants. Known for marrying the spirit of Korean BBQ with the high notes of a classic American steakhouse, each table features a smokeless grill where servers seamlessly cook premium cuts of steak straight from the in-house dry-aging room that guests can see upon entering the restaurant. Each bite-sized slice of meat is enjoyed alongside kimchi and other Korean delights. The restaurant is also highly regarded for its wine program, featuring a 1,200+ label wine list. This high-end and dimly lit restaurant is ideal for date nights, milestone celebrations, and those days when you just want to treat yourself.

For those who prefer to treat themselves at home, Cote has recently launched a take-out and delivery service, available exclusively through DoorDash, allowing diners in Miami the chance to enjoy the restaurant's signature flavors delivered right to their doorstep.

"Our decision to offer takeout and delivery came from our commitment to making Cote’s unique dining experience accessible to everyone in Miami,” says David Shim, the Executive Chef of Cote. “While the in-restaurant experience is a cornerstone of what we do, we also wanted to ensure that those unable to join us in person could still savor our flavors from the comfort of their own home.”

Whether it’s for a special occasion or just a night in, the team at Cote aims to make it easy for people to enjoy the restaurant’s exceptional quality and hospitality in Miami. Popular items on the delivery menu include the Butcher’s Bowl, which features a chef's selection of grilled-to-perfection USDA prime cuts and American Wagyu over rice with homemade pickles; and the Sweet & Tangy Chicken Nuggets tossed in an addicting gochujang glaze.

Diners looking for the works can opt for The Ultimate Steak Feast at Home, which features everything you need to make a complete meal for two or four people. This offering includes four premium USDA prime and above cuts, two fan-favorite stews (kimchi and dwenjang),  scallion salad, white rice, and piquant pickles n' kimchi — plus a ssam kit to make lettuce wraps.

Of course, a group (or a special occasion) definitely isn’t needed to enjoy Cote at home. The Kimchi Wagyu Paella, which includes Wagyu beef and rice stir-fried in Wagyu tallow with radish kimchi and topped with a fried egg and nori flakes, is always a winner; as is the Cote Bibimbop made with six different types of sautéed mountain vegetables and a fried egg over rice (available with or without beef on top).

One of Cote’s most-loved cuts of meat is the signature Galbi, their sweet, savory, and perfectly caramelized diamond-cut short ribs. Order it solo or as part of a Galbi Bowl served over rice with housemade pickles. It’s an umami-flavor bomb like no other.

Additionally, those who go the delivery route are in for a special treat, as two menu items are exclusive to DoorDash.

"When designing Miami's delivery menu, our goal was to make it unique while staying true to Cote. To achieve this, we introduced two exclusive dishes: Galbi Jjim and Steak Dup-bap. These offerings are available exclusively for delivery, allowing our Miami guests to experience something exceptional from Cote without having to leave the house,” says Shim.

The Galbi Jjim features USDA prime short rib braised with root vegetables, candied chestnuts, and a signature soy sauce blend for a tender, savory-sweet experience. The Steak Dup-bap pairs USDA prime skirt steak over rice with soy sauce, egg yolk, and wasabi for a rich, indulgent bite with a little kick.

“Both come with rice and cabbage kimchi, perfect for a cozy night in," shares Shim. “We wanted to create a sense of excitement and exclusivity, ensuring that the delivery menu feels just as special as dining with us in person."

Currently, there are no options from Cote's extensive award-winning wine list available for delivery, but Shim says, “We’re always exploring new ways to enhance our guests' experience. Who knows what the future may hold!”
