Matty Hirsch

Matty Hirsch is a Sydney-based writer, editor and critic whose work has appeared in some of Australia’s leading titles, including Gourmet Traveller, Delicious, The Sydney Morning Herald, Time Out Sydney, and the WA Good Food Guide. A born-and-bred New Yorker and initially a restaurant manager by trade, he began putting pen to paper in 2017, off the back of a year in Italy where he earned a master’s degree in gastronomy from the University of Gastronomic Sciences outside Torino. Somehow, he’s still hungry for more.
